NEW YORK, October 20, 2015 – RED PR, the NYC-based public relations agency founded in 2000 by Julia Labaton, celebrates 15 spectacular years in business. The boutique agency marked the occasion with a roaring party at SIXTY SoHo on Thursday, October 15th.
The Gordon Bar was packed to capacity with influential guests who flew in from across the country and as far away as Dubai, including John Heffner, CEO of DryBar; Frederick Anderson, President of fashion house Hanley; filmmakers; fashion designers like Diego Binetti; artists; interior designers; boutique owners; musicians; and journalists from PR News, O’Dwyer’s, Seventeen and SELF.

RED PR has grown steadily serving beauty and fashion clients both globally and locally and attracting top creative communications talent. What was started by an ambitious 29-year old at the start of the new millennium has succeeded with hard work, passionate integrity and a singular vision to create influential client campaigns and to build brands.

Seeing the smiling faces and hearing the raucous laughter of so many clients, colleagues and long-time friends was remarkable and tremendously touching. It’s important to celebrate these milestones and to honor the relationships that continue to help RED PR thrive. Every person in attendance in some way contributed to our team’s success over these last 15 years,” said Labaton.

RED PR has won numerous industry awards and commendations such as the PRSA Big Apple, SABRE, ABBIE and Bulldog Reporter awards. Most recently, this year Labaton made the PR News ‘Top Women in PR’ List and the company won an Hermes Creative Award for Morgan Taylor Lacquer’s program at New York Fashion Week.
Labaton is a member of Cosmetic Executive Women, Fashion Group International, PRSA and on the executive board of PR Boutiques International. The company continuously gives back to the American Red Cross and the ASPCA.
